Interview with William E. Jefferson, author of Divine Choreography of Redemption

Title: Divine Choreography of Redemption: Setting the Eternal Saga in Time
Author: William E. Jefferson
Publisher: Hybrid Global Publishing
Genre: Historical Fantasy

Divine Choreography of Redemption explores the story of redemption as divine drama advanced by acts and agents that transcend time and space. The novel is set beyond the Storied Sea on the ancient Isle of Estillyen, far from everywhere yet mystically near. There, a troupe of Message Makers from the seventeenth century mysteriously arrives to grapple with the theme in today's context.
At the heart of the novel, a battle brews between technology's driven existence--aided by modern devices and algorithms--and life centered in Scriptures ancient narrative. The story line begs the question: Does meaning truly abide in the saga of redemption's divine choreography, or in media's discarnate realm?

Do you listen to music while writing? If so, what do you listen to?

No never.

Do you have any suggestions for upcoming writers?

Never compromise. Aim to write literature that will stand the test of time. Listen to your characters. They will reveal the story to you. They are alive.

What is it you like to do when you are not reading/writing?

I work on my barn, property.

Is there an author/authors that have inspired you?

Not really.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Motorcycle racer.

How do you/would you react to a negative review of your book?

It's okay. My writing tends to be somewhat poetic, and rather deep mixing philosophy and theology. If you are looking for Amish romance. I'm not your favorite author. I'm more in the line of C.S. Lewis and the like.
