Praise for The Bomb That Never Was

“Hitler has the bomb, and it's headed for the USA. This meticulously researched historical novel will have you asking, ‘What if?' This is an intelligent, fast-paced page-turner that will make you forget that you already know how it all turns out. Provocative, informative, and entertaining—I couldn't put it down.” —Joseph P. DeSario, author of Limbo and Sanctuary and coauthor of Crusade: Undercover Against the Mafia & KGB

“Authoritative and credible in its attention to detail, The Bomb That Never Was captures the spirit and temper of the WWII years and raises some deep philosophical questions about loyalty, treason, and commitment to country. A page-turner … tough to put down … a story well told.” —Robert L. Aaron, journalist and public relations executive

The Review:

I admit that I am a history nerd. I try to read and watch as much as I can about not only our wars (the US) but other wars throughout history. So, when I was offered the opportunity to read this book I jumped at the chance. Granted, this one is historical fiction but it is so well written you will find yourself so deep in the story, you won't even notice.

We are all familiar with WWII and the Nazis, but this book puts an interesting spin on things. What if Hitler decided to bomb the USA? What might have transpired? J.R. Shaw puts you deep into a world where he explores that exact scenario, and with a determined prose he fleshes out a new history, one which completely held my interest.

Whether you enjoy history or just like to read, this is a novel that I believe you would enjoy!
